This statement is our company’s commitment in preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in our business activities, and it summarises the steps we have put in place with the aim of ensuring there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our own business and supply chains.
Reference is taken from the requirements of both, ROI Criminal Law (Trafficking) Act 2013 and UK Modern Slavery Act 2015. We have a companywide duty to be alert to risks, however small; and systems are in place for staff to report their concerns, and management to act upon them. The responsibility of management extends to having policies and risk assessments in place and to ensure due diligence is applied in any known or suspected instances of modern slavery and human trafficking. Online training is carried out with management staff to understand the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking and to ensure it does not exist in our company. Our whistleblowing, conduct, and social responsibility policies are part of the oversight of the risks and actions in managing advance warnings of any such potential occurrences. Regular reviews of suppliers, old and new, and the making clear of our expectations in this regard are carried out. Revisions to our performance indicators, recording that neither modern slavery nor human trafficking is taking place in our business, are regularly carried out to ensure that constant awareness is being maintained. |
